Founded in June 2016, by researcher Hannah Ruth Dyson, working along aside a 6-member team, mapping ancient indigenous women’s cultures around the world.
The group focused primarily on the historical narrative of women, gaining a greater understanding of who we are, across the world.
What became quickly apparent then, was the lack of research for the perspective, traditions and wisdoms of women in indigenous cultures that are still alive today.
Soul Seed Gathering seeks to contribute to this body of work.
We work with local women and NGO’s in each country who have built long-term relationships with the indigenous women who live there.
Our aim is to document, preserve and fill any gaps of our understanding of female traditions and wisdoms by traveling to the source of these lineages.
We invite women from around the world to gather with us and celebrate our collective cultural heritage; to also arrive as explorers and researchers of their own ancestry, lineages and inner world of wisdom.
