We are all researchers of this life, and the world around us. It is human nature to seek knowledge and to assign meaning.

Yet academia and traditional education have historically excluded female, feminine and Indigenous-led knowledge and experience. These traditional colonial structures have defined the beliefs and epistemologies we hold today. Much of the story has been left out, limiting our ability to deeply understand ourselves and our world.

Living Research is an embodied, permeable and responsible approach to knowledge gathering.

It is a methodology, guide and compass to our work at Soul Seed Gathering where we engage with ancestral, Indigenous, and cultural knowledge as it engages with us also.

No knowledge remains dead to a page and separate from us but becomes a field we dance within.
